Biography
Marty Downs directs the Network Office of the Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) Network, which coordinates synthesis, partnerships, communications, and education activities across the Network's 27 sites. Her current work, in research facilitation, draws on both her early career research in ecosystem ecology and biogeochemistry and her experience as a writer, editor, and communications professional in academic, non-profit and government organizations.
