Biography

Karl Hall is a second-year PhD student in Computer Science studying at Teesside University under the supervision of Prof. Victor Chang. His doctoral research is focused on using artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, data mining and natural language processing to discover biomarker genes and drugs relevant to South Asian patients affected by both COVID-19 and Type 2 diabetes.
