Biography

My research focuses on: (1) improving access to hearing services for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, (2) outcomes for children with hearing loss through the development of interventions in early hearing intervention services, (3) the implementation of family-centred care in hearing services, (4) identifying factors influencing the use of hearing healthcare services, and (5) identifying social isolation related to hearing loss and its impacts on children with hearing loss. I utilise behaviour change theories (e.g., COM-B model of behaviour) and qualitative research methodologies.
