Biography

Quntao An (S’10–M’11) received the B.S., degree in electrical engineering from the Harbin University of Science and Technology, Harbin, China, in 2004, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, in 2006 and 2011, respectively. From 2009 to 2010, he was a joint Ph.D. student with the Wisconsin Electric Machines and Power electronics Consortium, University of Wisconsin–Madison.
From 2009, he joined the faculty of Harbin Institute of Technology, and he is currently an Associate Professor. His research interests include electric machines and drives, power electronics, and energy storage technology.
