Biography
Jose Castanheiro is Assistant Professor in Chemical Department in Evora University, Portugal. He is Chemical Engineer from FCT-Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (1996, Portugal) and He received a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (2004, Portugal). He has been developing works about conversion of renewable raw-material into chemical and fuel in the presence of heterogeneous catalysts. He has supervised MSc and PhD students. He is (co-)author of ca. 44 SCI papers, 19 book chapter and 110 communications in scientific meetings. He is Advisory International Editorial Board of Bulletin of Chemical Reaction Engineering & Catalysis. He has participated in different national and European projects.
