Carla Ferreira

Biography

Carla Ferreira is a member of the Laboratory of the Supervision and Evaluation of CIDTFF in the Department of Education and Psychology of the University of Aveiro (Portugal). Has a Degree in Education from the University of Aveiro (2004), Post-Graduation in Special Education (Cognitive and Motor Domain) (2008) by ISCIA (Higher Institute of Sciences Information and Administration), Specialized in Education and Libraries (2011) by the Lusófona University of Porto and Master degree in Sciences of Education (Specialization in Personal and Social Training) (2011) by the University of Aveiro. PhD in the area of Higher Education, with focus on Engineering Education, namely in Quality Management Systems of Teaching and Learning Processes and in the Evaluation of Student-Centred Teaching by the University of Aveiro.
She was the founder and responsible for the Service of Education and Animation of the Municipal Library of Estarreja (2006-2011), Internal Quality Auditor (2009-2011) and Manager of the Municipal Library of Estarreja Process in the scope of Quality Management (2010-2011). From 2009 to 2011 she has collaborated in Radio of Voz da Ria with programs to promote reading and since 2012 she has been a Member of the Commission of the Senior University of Cacia, where she also teaches Spanish and French as a volunteer.
Her interests’ research includes Engineering Education; Pedagogy in Higher Education; Assessment and Quality; Quality Management Systems; Teacher Training; Sustainability and Social Responsibilit; Environmental Education for Sustainability; Education for Sustainable Development; Sustainability of the Scientific Production of Educational Research Centres; Adult Education; Libraries; and Education and Cultural Heritage.
