Biography

I am Sanjay Kumar Pal, a doctoral fellow in the Department of Fertility and Social Demography at the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai. I have degrees in M.Sc. (Statistics), Master of Population Studies (MPS), and M.Phil. in Population Studies. After that, I worked as a senior research officer on a project at IIPS. Furthermore, I started my integrated M.Phil. & PhD course at IIPS in July 2019 to date. I worked on the family-building process and women's empowerment during this period. Presently, I am working on my doctoral thesis entitled "Contraceptive Equity and Its Transition in India."
