Biography

Krzysztof Malik, professor of economics, heads the Department of Economics, Finance, Regional and International Research at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Opole University of Technology. Prof. Malik conducts research on the regional economy, development strategy, knowledge transfer and specialization of regional development, economic evaluation of regional public programmes and policies. He is the author and co-author of more than 200 public studies and expertise. At the University, he is the President of scientific board for economics and finance research. Appointed by Marshal of Opolskie Region as a member of the Think-tank for Regional Policy. Moderator and scientific mentor of the Innovation Development Strategy of the Opolskie Voivodeship until 2020 and until 2027. Involved in Jean Monnet Regional Center activity. Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
