Biography
I am an Italian researcher and academic specializing in early Buddhist thought. My work primarily focuses on two lines of inquiry: the ethnopsychological study of Buddhist contemplative practice, particularly concerning themes of consciousness and perception, and the investigation of ethnomedicine in early Buddhism. In essence, my research explores the intellectual history of Buddhism through the lens of its psychology and meditative practices, as well as the historical development of medical conceptions described in Buddhist texts.
