Biography

Assistant Professor, Physics Department, Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). PhD in Education (USP - University of São Paulo, Brazil, 2020), MEd in Physics Education (UFES - Federal University of Espírito Santo, Brazil, 2016) and BA in Physics Education (UFRJ - Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 2012). I was a Visiting Student researcher at the Graduate School of Education, University of California at Berkeley (2018-2019) sponsored by CAPES, a Brazilian federal bureau. My research strands includes daily Physics conceptual development, network science applied to semantic and social representation analysis and the complexity of classroom interpersonal relations. I have particular interest in the interface between Science and Arts and in the scientific culture production which drives me to investigate music, photography, stop-motion cinema, physics of light and colors, scientific vulgarisation, non-formal Physics teaching and production of low-tech cost effective solutions for Physics teaching and scientific research.
