Biography
Dr Sudhanshu Shekhar is a Scientist (Výzkumný pracovník) at the Laboratory of Gnotobiology, Institute of Microbiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic. He received his MSc in Integrated Immunology and PhD in Infection and Immunity from the University of Oxford in England and the University of Manitoba in Canada, respectively. He then worked as a Postdoctoral and Senior Scientist at the University of Oslo, Norway, exploring host-microbiota interplay in animal models and humans. Of note, he is a registered veterinarian, who holds a DVM in Veterinary Medicine. Overall, his research interest and passion revolve around understanding and capitalizing on host-microbiota interactions in order to develop novel vaccines and therapeutics.
