Biography

I am currently senior lecturer in commercial law at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, previously teaching at the University of Leeds, England, between 2016 and 2022.
I got my PhD degree from the University of Durham in 2014, supervised by the late Professor Roman Tomasic. Immediately after my PhD, I was offered a post-doctoral research fellow position at Singapore Management University, Singapore, where I was generously supported by my mentor Professor Tang Hang Wu.
Before travelling to the UK in 2008, I was a business lawyer practising law in Hangzhou, the capital city of the Zhejiang province in the People's Republic of China for a decade.
I was a self-educated lawyer, since my first degree is mechanical engineering obtained from Jingdezhen College (University) of Ceramics Science in 1995.
