Biography

Oke Okwokwo is currently a PhD research student studying at the University of Manchester, UK in the department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. He holds a B.Sc in Physics from the University of Abuja, Nigeria awarded in 2011. After working for a few years in information and communication technology companies, he started his career in teaching and research at the University of Abuja as a graduate assistant lecturer in 2014. Thereafter, he proceeded to obtain master's degree in applied geophysics at the federal University of technology, Minna, Nigeria in 2017 where he worked on Basin evolution using potential field datasets and currently, he is working on the evolution of the Red Sea using various geophysical datasets and artificial intelligence.
