Biography

T. Herraiz has a PhD in Chemistry (Biochemistry), from the Complutense University of Madrid. After a period of postdoctoral work at the University of California, Davis (USA), he became a Scientist at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). His research work is dealing with the bioactive compounds and their molecular biotransformation into new bioactive and toxic agents. TH is author of more than 100 scientific publications, with an h index (google scholar) of 38. TH has been a reviewer for more than 45 scientific journals and also a reviewer for national and foreign funding agencies.
