Personal information
Biography
I am an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in Knee Surgery, Sport Medicine, Hip Surgery, Paediatric Orthopaedic and Traumatology.
My Knee Fellowship allowed me to work and actively operate with Prof. Sergio Romagnoli at Galeazzi Hospital, Milan. This valuable fellowship experience enabled me to improve my knowledge and skills in Knee Surgery.
My consultant appointment as Orthopaedic Knee surgeon and knee specialist Cernusco S/N – Melegnano, led to my offering a full knee service including arthroscopies, Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstructions, Partial Knee Surgery (Unicompartmental Knee Prosthesis), Total Knee Prosthesis and Revision Knee Surgery.
As my practice developed and became more specialized towards complex knees, I accepted the Consultant knee surgery position in 2020 at ICCS (Città Studi) in Milan, with my Chief Nicolò Castelnuovo. The department is a tertiary referral centre for complex and difficult knees.
I was invited to join the consultant staff at King Edward VIIth’s Hospital as a Consultant Knee Surgeon working alongside along Prof. David Barrett and Prof. Justin Cobb. I now practice between Milan and London and have an active interest in research and academic knee surgery as well as the treatment of complex knee conditions. I am a member of the regular review board for knee surgery at King Edward VII’s Hospital, where all cases are discussed and evaluated.
Language skills: My mother tongue is Italian, I have practised professionally in England and studied under the ERAMUS programme in France, therefore I am fluent in both French and English.
