Biography

Maternal stress during pregnancy is associated with an increased incidence of neurodevelopment abnormalities. To uncover the cellular and molecular mechanisms of the effects of maternal infection during pregnancy on placenta-blood and blood-brain barrier formation and function are very intriguing.
