Biography

With academic background in biological sciences coupled with exposure to parasitological and epidemiological research, I have developed an interest in academic research that address key challenges in the ongoing efforts to control and eliminate infectious diseases. I believe every new finding that helps us to better understand the biology of infectious diseases is an important progress in the fight against these disease that have taken and incapacitated more lives than all wars.

I believe every research finding unraveling an important aspect of the biology of infectious diseases is as a vital piece of the yet-found pieces of a puzzle that together, help to better shape our perspective and give us direction in furnishing the right intervention to put these diseases in check. My interest in the applications of modern biological methods and techniques in biomedical research stems from this belief.

It is my goal to be a part of research efforts to reduce the frequency of diseases challenging humanity and contribute to health security, improved life quality, and gross development which have become the central canons of my aspirations.
