Biography

Dr. Munazza is a highly active academician and researcher in the field of Library & Information Science. With a wealth of experience and expertise, she has contributed significantly to the academic community through her research endeavors. She was awarded a PhD Scholarship by the Chinese Scholarship Council, China to pursue her doctoral research in Data Mining and Scientometric Analysis from the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing. She joined the department of Library & Information science, University of Balochistan in 2008. Her active areas of research include:

1- Datamining techniques, Secientometric applications, Research Evaluation, Research Trends
2- Research assessment by using qualitative and quantitative research in the field of Humanities and social sciences
3- Comparative analysis of scholarly communication, publications, patents, and policy evaluation of educational sectors from international to national perspectives
4- Information Communication Technology, social media concerning libraries, Information Literacy and its implications at academic institutions
5- User Education, Continuing education, Academic libraries, Information communication and social networking

Presently she is working with the department of Library & Information Science, Allama Iqbal University, Islamabad since 2021.
