Biography
Amin Hassani received his PhD in 2017 from KU Leuven, Belgium, department of Electrical Engineering (ESAT) division STADIUS center for dynamical systems, signal processing and data analytics (STADIUS). Between 2017 and 2019, he was appointed as a post-doctoral research associate in KU Leuven-ESAT-STADIUS, during which he served as a scientific project manager in the H2020-FET project D-NOISE. Between 2019 and 2021, he was involved in an exploitation project within STADIUS to design cooperative signal processing solutions for IoT-based multi-user speech communication systems. In 2021, he co-founded CONNEXOUNDS as a spin-off company of KU Leuven, where he is currently serving as CEO and Technology Architect. Meanwhile, he is engaged at ESAT-STADIUS as a guest researcher. His research interests include distributed algorithm design and validation for real-time audio signal processing and speech enhancement.
