Personal information

Biography

I conduct research in microbial genomics on human pathogens that arise from animals and the aquatic environment. I use computational and experimental molecular Biology tools to address questions related to climate change implications on disease transmission in Low amd Middle Income countries.
As part of my teaching portfolio and higher education pedagogy, I use problem-based learning to teach Microbial Genomics, Bioinformatics in Microbiology, and One Health antimicrobial resistance surveillance.
