Biography

XueWu Wang received B.S. degree in welding from Harbin Institute of Technology, in 1995, M.S. degree in welding from LanZhou University of Technology, in 2000, and Ph.D. degree in control theory & control engineering from China University of Mining and Technology, in 2003. He worked at the welding research and development laboratory, University of Kentucky, as a visiting scholar from 2010 to 2011. He joined the School of Information Science & Engineering at East China University of Science and Technology in 2003, where he is currently an associate professor. He has published more than 40 papers. His current research interests include welding process sensing, modeling and control.
