Biography

Keramea Panagiota is currently a Postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Environmental Engineering at the Democritus University Thrace and she is also member of Laboratory of Ecological Engineering and Technology. Before that, she completed her PhD in marine pollution and oil spill modeling (2020-2024). Also, she holds a MSc in Applied Mathematics in Engineering Science (2017-2019) at Technical University of Crete. Prior that, she received a BSc in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (2012-2017) at University of Crete. She had research experience (2017-2019) as postgraduate and master student at the Institute of Applied and Computational Mathematics of the Institute of Technology and Research (IACM - FORTH), at the Laboratory of Coastal & Marine Research. The topic of her PhD research was "Oil spill motion and dispersion business simulation processes optimization and decision and response systems".
