Biography

Florian is a biodiversity data engineer at the Western Australian Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) with the mission to streamline uptake of scientific insight from monitoring and research to inform biodiversity conservation management, or simply put: to maximise management bang for the scientific buck.
Florian's main interests include electronic data capture, research software engineering, and reproducible research.
