Biography

Paulo Barros holds a degree in Network and Computer Systems Engineering (in 2022) and in Civil and Environmental Engineering (in 2003) both from the Higher School of Technology and Management (ESTG) of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (IPVC), in Portugal. Since 2024, he has taken on roles as an R&D Engineer at CiTin - Industrial Technological Interface Center, having previously been an R&D Engineer at IPVC - between 2021 and 2023 - at the proMetheus and ADiT-Lab research units. He has experience in Information Technologies and Systems, Communication and Electronics, IoT, computer networks, cyber security, data privacy, and in the areas of energy efficiency, IAQ, occupational health and safety, civil construction and quality.
