Biography

Dr. Javad Shamsi is a postdoc at the Physics department (Cavendish Laboratory) - University of Cambridge. Javad obtained a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Tehran in Iran. Javad then received his Ph.D. in Nanochemistry from Italian Institute of Technology in 2018, where he worked on colloidal synthesis of lead halide perovskite nanocrystals for optoelectronic applications under the advisement of Prof. Liberato Manna. To pursue his passion for the fundamental research in quantum confined perovskite nanocrystals, then moved to Cambridge to join the ERC project team of Dr Sam Stranks in 2018.
