Research on the following subjects: Flora and Vegetation of the Macaronesian Biogeographical Region; Recovery of Biodiversity in the Central Mountains of Madeira Island; Island Madeira’s Irrigation Channels (Levadas) – Niche Eco-Tourism; Garden Plants and Garden Tourism; Environment and Sustainability of Tourism; Solutions for Environmental Contrasts in Coastal Areas.
Author of documentaries about natural and cultural heritage, exhibited in national and international television stations.
