Biography
Cecilia Georgescu, chemist, senior researcher, Ph.D. and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food Industry Environmental Protection from "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu.
Expertise in: Sustainable Resources; Innovative food ingredients: antimicrobials, antioxidants, fat replacers, fibres (with emphasis on extraction and characterization of natural compounds as: oils, anthocyans, flavones, tannins from sustainable raw materials).
Educational skills: Food chemistry, Modern methods of food analysis, at the Faculty of ASFIEP, ULBS.
Scientific research materialized in the publication of numerous scientific papers specialized in the sphere of food chemistry and their branches so to date has published more than 90 research papers in scientific publications outstanding of which 25 papers were indexed web of Science - Thomson Reuters magazines distinguished relative influence score high on this level and more than 330 have been cited in international scientific journals with high impact scientific.
