Biography

Vaibhav is currently a PhD student in the School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT), Auckland, New Zealand. He received his B.E. and M.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He completed his master’s project from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, India, where he worked on an AMI intrusion detection system to detect energy theft accurately for Smart grids. His current research interests include Internet of Things (IoT), Tactile Internet, Fog Computing, Software-defined Networks, Network Function Virtualisation, next-generation (xG) internet, and 5G & beyond.
