Biography

I have several years of teaching and research experience in modeling, simulation, and optimization of turbulent/laminar multiphase flows, solid-fluid interaction, aerosol dynamics in confined and urban areas, and multi-scale industrial aerodynamics for wind engineering applications using high-resolution computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations, machine learning tools, and experimental measurements. I am interested in the development of high-resolution numerical and experimental methods for understanding the details of airflow and fine particle dynamics through different tempo-spatial scales from pore-size (e.g. face mask and air filter) to building (e.g room ventilation) and urban (pedestrian wind environment) scales.
