Ebere Donatus Okonta is a distinguished architect, researcher, and lecturer with extensive expertise in sustainable urban development, smart cities, and resilience strategies. He earned a PhD in Construction from Teesside University, United Kingdom, focusing on Semantic Interoperability in IoT Systems and QGIS Integration to enhance Unified City Information Modelling (CIM). Ebere has played a pivotal role in urban research projects, contributed to securing significant research funding, and actively participated in global sustainability dialogues through his numerous publications and conference presentations. His areas of expertise include Building Information Modelling (BIM), City Information Modelling (CIM), Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for advancing smart and sustainable cities. With a deep passion for harnessing digital technologies to enhance urban systems, Ebere’s work is closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
