Biography

Dr Rajiv Chauhan Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Currently, working as Assosciate Professor and Head of Department of Civil Engineering, at IKG Punjab Technical University( A state Govt University), Main campus Since Jan 2017. Having more than 20 years’ experience of teaching .Supervised 03 PhD's in last 05 years. For one of the Phd candidate Mr. Parveen Chander, Degree was awarded posthumously with a special initiative taken by me and approved by the VC of the University. My area of interests are Soil Liquefaction, Ground Improvement Techniques, Waste Utilization, Subgrade improvement.
Coauthored book on RCC Design and drawing for Diploma students. Being All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) Coordinator for Faculty Development Programs and and PDP for Non-Teaching in IKGPTU. Worked as Board of Studies Chairman. Started Consultancy Cell in University.
