Biography

Leonardo Mamani is a PhD student in Climate and Environment at the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia – INPA (2023-2027). He completed his master's degree in the same program (2021-2023) and holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA) (2013-2019). He has experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on hydraulics and hydrology. Currently, he is expanding his knowledge in climatology to understand extreme climate phenomena in tropical regions and their hydroclimatic impacts on the South American continent.
