Biography
I am an atmospheric scientist with a broad range of interests. I initially got a training in atmospheric dynamics and studied the remote impacts of extratropical transitions of North Atlantic cyclones. For my PhD, I transitioned to atmospheric microphysics and chemistry but with a link to boundary layer dynamics. I currently study the vertical distribution of aerosol particles and trace gases in the lower atmosphere of polar regions with a tethered-balloon system. In the framework of my PhD, I designed the instrumental setup of the system and built all parts. I enjoy the technical aspect of environmental engineering and the experimental work.
My goal is to make the bridge between process understanding from in situ measurements and improvement of current numerical models.
