Biography

Nathaly Witt is a dedicated and experienced conservator of paintings and painted wooden objects. With a Bachelor of Arts in Conservation and Restoration and a Master of Science in Conservation and Restoration Science, she has honed her skills through practical experience in both academic and freelance roles.

Currently, Nathaly Witt works as a research assistant in conservation/restoration at the Hornemann Institute of the HAWK University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hildesheim and also serves as a tutor for online courses.

In her role at NFDI4Objects, Nathaly Witt is part of Task Area 4 "Protecting," which focuses on conservation and restoration data and the scientific study of art and cultural objects. Within the Community Cluster "Conservation and Restoration/Conservation Science," she aims to promote access to and the exchange of research data, and to improve understanding by mapping existing terminologies.
