Biography
Jun Cheng, earned a Master degree at School of Public Health, Peking University. She has worked for North China Coal Medical College from 1992 to 2001 as a health statistics teacher and medical editor. From 2004 to 2009, Dr Cheng has served as a professional researcher in Beijing Institute of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Diseases with focus on epidemiological survey and research on cardiovascular diseases. From 2009, Dr Cheng has been working at National Center for Tuberculosis Prevention and Control, Chinese Center for Disease Prevention and Control (China CDC). As director of Dept. of Key Population, her responsibility includes developing National Tuberculosis Control Programme on tuberculosis infection prevention and control, active tuberculosis case finding among high risk population, tuberculosis prevention and control in congregate settings, and conducting training, providing technical guidance and support for various regions, and implementing monitoring and evaluation
