Biography
Anilcan Kara is an experienced software engineer from Ankara, Turkey. He has over 14 years of professional experience working on various software projects.
Kara began his career as a web development intern at Lanse Web Teknolojileri in 2008, where he gained experience building website solutions for local clients using HTML, JavaScript, and PHP. From 2009 to 2014, he worked as a freelance web developer at the same company, providing bespoke software solutions for clients in the banking, e-commerce, stock tracking, and CRM sectors.
In 2014 and 2015, Kara took on freelance roles as a software developer for the Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi (CHP) political party, where he designed and coded the party's official website and other web-based applications. He also worked as a software consultant for E-imzaTR, providing consultancy on using smart cards on web browsers.
From 2015 to 2019, Kara worked as an IT technician at the Republic of Turkiye's Ministry of Justice, where he gained skills in areas like image analysis, digital forensics, and mobile forensics.
In 2019, Kara rejoined the Ministry of Justice as a software developer, working on the UYAP (National Judiciary Informatics System) project until 2022. During this time, he worked with technologies such as Kubernetes, CI/CD, Scrum, Vue.js, Babel, Node.js, Webpack, and PostgreSQL.
From 2022 to 2023, Kara worked as a software developer on the Administrative Resources Team, where he utilized skills in Kubernetes, CI/CD, OpenAI, Redux.js, Oracle SQL Developer, Scrum, Babel, Node.js, Webpack, Java, React.js, Spring Boot, SQL, Docker, and PostgreSQL. His team's project, BIPES (Individualized Personnel Training System), won the e-learning category at the WSIS Prizes 2023.
