Biography

I received a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Bu-Ali Sina University, Iran; and a Ph.D. degree with the School of Industrial Engineering & Management, at Oklahoma State University. My research interests include combinatorial & network optimization, models for the spread of influence in networks, mixed-integer programming, stochastic modeling, supply chain management, machine learning, and statistics analysis. I gained practical experience in applying optimization techniques to large-scale railroad-related and revenue management problems when I was an Operations Research intern with Norfolk Southern Corporation and a Decision Science intern with Walt Disney Company. I am currently working as an Operations Research consultant at American Airlines.
