Biography

I like to introduce myself as a communicator by nature & education, and a health promoter by practice and registration.

I believe that passion is the greatest driver to achieve results and make a difference. I want to lead a change in the world. My mission & career objective, inspired by a personal Lived Experience with Type 1 Diabetes, had always been to support people, increase health literacy and improve patient experience & health systems.

Over a decade of experience in health promotion, patient empowerment & public health where I established health consumer centred units and successfully transformed the corporate business mindset to encompass the patient perspective.
I was responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating integrated healthcare reform strategies and initiatives across multiple countries, through project and change management.

I am experienced in leading by influence, implementing impactful healthcare strategies, project management, stakeholder management and communications.
