Biography

Shubham Srivastava is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur under the supervision of Professor Adrish Banerjee since 2019. His Ph.D. thesis focuses on designing error-correcting codes using machine learning techniques. He completed his M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur in 2016 under the guidance of Dr. Manoj Kumar Shukla. His M.Tech thesis explored the design and analysis of a novel numerical interleaver for IDMA schemes. Prior to that, Shubham earned his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College in 2013. His undergraduate project involved illumination compensation using oriented local histogram equalization and its application to face recognition. After his masters, Shubham worked as a Guest Faculty at Dr. Ambedkar Institute Of Technology for Handicapped, Kanpur where he taught courses in analog communication, digital communication and wireless communication.
