Biography
Ifunanya Barbara Onyekwelu is a biomedical engineer with a background in electrical/electronic engineering. She recently completed an MSc in Applied Computer and Information Technology (Biomedical Engineering option), where her research focused on smart power management for energy-autonomous wearable devices using dual thermoelectric generators.
Her expertise spans medical sensors, energy harvesting, rehabilitation devices, and IoT applications in healthcare. Through her master's coursework and research, she has co-authored three conference papers. She is particularly interested in energy-efficient biomedical devices, medical device innovation, and emerging technologies in personalized healthcare.
