Biography

Medina Hamidovic (31) is a multiple-awarding winning young scientist in the field of communication systems in biomedical engineering, with a focus on applications in the pharmaceutical industry and medicine. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria. I am a young mother to two wonderful children who are my greatest inspiration in life. My professional aspiration is to create affordable and sustainable tools for the pharmaceutical industry that improve drug development worldwide. To this day, I hold multiple national and international awards for my research achievements, from organizations such as IEEE, IEEE ComSoc, Zonta International, and JKU. I am a passionate humanitarian and internationally recognized and award-winning advocate for women in technology, a sports enthusiast, and a mental health promoter.
